Overall exam pattern:
In NMAT 2013 candidates had an opportunity of appearing more than once in case they were not satisfied with their 1st attempt. The difficulty level was easy to moderate. There was no negative markings as well as no technical glitches.
It had 120 questions to be answered in 120 minutes. Speed remained name of the game in NMAT 2013.

Detailed Sectional Analysis:
DI was quite tougher than QA as questions were based on data sufficiency. Most of the questions were based on bar, line graph as well as multiple graphs. The difficulty level of questions were of easy to moderate. As this sections was time consuming the calculations were intensive. It consisted of 48 questions in 60 min.

The Difficulty level was moderate. It included a mix of usual mix of strengthening, weakening, assumption questions on critical reasoning. The LR section was time consuming. It consisted of 40 questions to be attempted in 60 min.
