Overall exam pattern :
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level test conducted for admission to all the management programs. It commenced on 20 September 2014 and it is conducted twice a year. The test has 100 questions to be solved in a time span of 180 minutes. Overall the paper was of moderate to difficult level.

This section was little tough but time consuming. Overall difficulty level was moderate. Average attempt would have been 17-19 questions.

Though easy this section was slightly time consuming . The difficulty level was easy to moderate. Average attempt could have been around 18-20 questions out of the 30.
Here much emphasis was given on vocabulary. Questions on Grammar, Para- Jumbles, Para completion, verbal reasoning, Fill in the blanks etc were asked. RC passages were of moderate length and quite tricky. Average attempt of 15-20 questions would have been good.
As usual this section was tough for the candidates, there was a plethora of questions on Constitution, Fiscal system, Sports, World affairs, General Science, Taxation, Politics, Arts & Culture etc. Average attempt would have been 16-19 questions.
