The state-level MBA/MMS CET is online exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for the admission in the MBA colleges in Maharashtra.

 

The Common Entrance Test – Maharashtra (CET) is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education and is accepted by close to 298 Institutes in Maharashtra.

Check for the eligibility criteria under different category:

 

· Candidates should have passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

 

Eligibility Criteria for admission to Maharashtra State candidates:
Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified above
Scored 30 or more marks in the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET and appeared for the GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State for the current academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for admission against All India Seats:

 

For Maharashtra State Candidates & outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified above Appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs) /JMET (conducted by IITs) / MAT (conducted by AIMA in February) AIMA (conducted by AIMS)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to MBA/MMS in the current academic year. Such candidates are required to appear for GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State for current academic year.
The distribution of Seats are categorized as under

 

Maharashtra State level Seats : 
There are two sub categories as Home University and other than Home University
Maharashtra State Seats: 

 

Each Maharashtra State candidate who has appeared in the MAHMBA/MMSCET 2016 conducted by Competent Authority of Maharashtra State will be assigned a State level Merit Number on the basis of percentile obtained in MAHMBA/MMS CET 2016
All India Seats: Each All India candidate who has appeared in CAT 2015 (conducted by IIMs)/CMAT 2016 (Conducted by AICTE) / GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2015)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS)/ MAHMBA/MMSCET 2016 will be assigned a State level merit number on the basis of percentile mentioned on the score card.
Here is the question pattern: (As per last year)

 

MAH-CET contains MCQ questions(5 choices) with 200 questions spread across Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation/sufficiency and Logical/Abstract Reasoning which is to be answered within 150 minutes. Time to rejoice, “No Negative Marks”. Speed, thats all you need to have. The exam would be conducted in various centers across India.
