CAT 2016: IIM Bangalore Declares the Date, 4th DecemberCATKing
Bengaluru: The Common Admission Test (CAT), a gateway to Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other prominent B-schools, will be held on December 4 this year. Online registrations for the test can be done from August 8 till September 22.
CAT 2016 will be conducted across 138 cities; two sessions will be held on the same day. Candidates will be given the option to select four cities in order of their preference. Registration fees must be paid through the online mode only (via credit card, debit card or net banking). All candidates will get their admit cards between from October 18 and December 4.
Prof Rajendra K Bandi, Convenor, CAT 2016, IIM Bangalore issued the details of the test for candidates’ information.
It will be a 180-minute test with three sections – verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. A tutorial to make students understand the format of the test will be hosted on the CAT website (www.iimcat.ac.in) from October 18.
