NMAT 2011 Analysis

Overall exam pattern :

The Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test 2011 tests a candidate’s ability in four areas namely: Quantitative Analysis, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning. The NMAT exam commenced on October 31, 2011. There was NO negative marking in the test and hence it was compulsory to attempt all the 120 questions. The average attempt should have been 75-80 questions and there were 4 options for every question.

NMAT 2014 Analysis

Overall exam pattern :

The Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test 2014 was conducted on October 7. There were 3 sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, Logical Reasoning, and the overall score of all the 3 sections was considered. The total duration allotted for the test was 120 minutes. There was NO negative marking in this test and hence it was mandatory to attempt all the 120 questions. The average attempt should have been 75-80 questions and there were 5 options for every question.

CAT 2011 Analysis

Overall exam pattern :

CAT 2011 was comparatively easy than last year. There were new changes introduced in the CAT exam format and maths section was made simpler in order to attract more students from non-engineering background. Instead of 3 there were 2 sections : QA & DI, VA & LR.

The expected cut-off of CAT 2011 was similar to that of CAT 2010. The average attempt of each section should have been 14 questions.
