Since 2007, candidates aspiring to join MBA programs offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University have to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude Test. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Exam & then register with the institutes offering his/her choice of program by paying separate institution registration fees.

SNAP is a national level management entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University Pune to conduct admission to the management programs offered at all affiliated institutes. The overall level of difficulty of the exam is comparatively high. Accordingly, measures need to be taken to crack it.


1) Like every other exam, SNAP can be divided into three parts: practice intensive, concept driven and environment sensitive. Plan accordingly.

2) Revise your elementary mathematics for quantitative ability and data interpretation. After you’ve developed a certain level of comfort with numbers, practice with tables, squares, cubes and decimal-fraction conversions.

3) For verbal ability, read multiple books and newspapers; the best way to develop a command over the language; for exam purposes as well as life.


SNAP 2016 Exam Analysis


SNAP 2016 had given a new twist to the exam pattern which saw a drastic change in the weightage assigned to the Logical Reasoning and the General Awareness Sections.

SNAP tested students on Speed, Logic and Analytical skills, though the number of marks allocated changed the type of questions in the aptitude exam were on the same lines as last 2 -3 years. Preparing from the previous papers would surely have helped the candidates.

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a paper-pen based national-level test that students attempt, to get admission into Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune) and its other affiliated institutes.
