I have appeared for CAT, NMAT, SNAP and MICAT.


What is your score in the exam?

CAT: 75%tile, NMAT:210, SNAP: 88%tile, MICAT: 48.5 (Psychometric Qualified)

Since when did you start preparing?

I started preparing since April 2016.


How did you prepare for each section of the exam?

For all the sections, I made sure that I am thorough with my basics. Post this, I moved to giving sectional tests and full length mocks along with properly analysis each one of them which helped me fill the gaps.


How many mock exams did you give?

I gave 10-12 mock exams for CAT and 10 mock exams for NMAT.

For MICAT, I focused on creative and argument writing.


How many hours did you invest in studying per day?

I studied for 3-4 hours daily excluding the mock exam timings.


What were your strong and weak areas? How did you prepare and what special efforts did you put for improving your weak areas?

My weak area was Quant. I went through CATKing basic books over and over again. I also reached out to Rohit Sir, Karan Sir and Ekagra Sir whenever I had doubts.

My strong area was Logical Reasoning.


Any particular topic(s) in every section you would suggest that the students appearing this year should focus on?

In my opinion, the students should focus on solving Para Jumbles without options, DI cases and Arithmetic.


What was your D-Day Strategy?

My D-Day strategy was to keep as calm as possible and listen to soothing music.


How was your overall experience?

My overall experience has been amazing. Sure, there were a lot of ups and downs. But receiving a short list call from NMIMS matters.
