I have appeared for CAT, NMAT, SNAP and TISSNET.


What is your score in the exam?

NMAT: 180, CAT: 50 %tile, SNAP: 60%tile

Since when did you start preparing?

I started preparing since August 2016.


How did you prepare for each section of the exam?

For Verbal, we have a great professor Mr. Rahul, who has given us all the tips and tricks.

For LRDI, I solved 2 sets daily for each of them.

For Quant, YouTube videos, short cut tricks, speed calculations, practicing at least 50 questions everyday and trying a different approach each time.


How many mock exams did you give?

I gave more than 20 mocks.


How many hours did you invest in studying per day?

I studied for at least 8 hours each day.


What were your strong and weak areas? How did you prepare and what special efforts did you put for improving your weak areas?

Practice at least 50 questions of quant every day.

Practice at least 5-6 Reading Comprehensions and read from Norman Lewis.


Any particular topic(s) in every section you would suggest that the students appearing this year should focus on?

Quant – Permutation and Combination, Time Speed Distance, Number Systems

Focus on Verbal and DI as examiners are focusing on these sections.


What was your D-Day Strategy?

My D-Day strategy was just listening to good music, positive thinking and revising formulae.


How was your overall experience?

My overall experience was good. It was a tough race.
