Project Echo is a certification-based social leadership program by CATKing, in collaboration with the top B-schools' CSR Cell. It enables CAT aspirants to contribute 50 hours of meaningful volunteering, from teaching underprivileged children to leading local impact projects. We can all initiate a nationwide movement for the betterment of society. The goal is to nurture heartful managers whose actions echo beyond academics. Participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a prestigious CSR Volunteer Certificate, boosting their profile for B-school admissions and beyond.

It is a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) volunteer certification initiative jointly backed by SCMHRD and CATKing, aimed at encouraging students to contribute to society through verified volunteer work.

You will receive a CSR Volunteer Certificate co-certified by SCMHRD, which adds significant value to your resume and B-school applications.

Students currently enrolled with CATKing Age 18 or above Willing to commit 50 verified volunteering hours Must have genuine intent to make a social impact Must submit reports and proofs regularly Willing to pay a refundable deposit of ₹1000 to ensure commitment

You’ll be expected to complete: At least 3 NGO activities or teaching sessions 1 mini-project focused on community development

Through an application form that includes your basic details and a short SOP explaining “Why do you want to make a difference?”

Yes. Applications are screened based on intent and seriousness. Final selection may include a shortlisting and onboarding phase by CATKing and SCMHRD mentors.

It’s to ensure that only genuinely committed students apply. The full amount is refunded after successful program completion.
