About Delhi School of Economics
The MBA programme in International Business, run by the Faculty of Commerce and Business, located in the Delhi School of Economics plays a pivotal role in equipping its students with the requisite skills to sculpt the face of the future arena of business. In 1985, the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and the International Trade Centre (ITC/UNCTAD/GATT), Geneva identified the Faculty of Commerce and Business as a centre fit for conducting a specialized program in International Business and Trade.
The MBA programme in Human Resource Development was started in the year 1995 by the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics with the objective of providing quality education to highly motivated young men and women so that they can provide professional expertise to business and industry in the twin areas of Human Resource and Organizational Development.

CAT – Common Admission Test
Admission Process and Eligibility
The admission process consists of the nationally administered Common Admission Test (CAT), and subsequent rounds of personal interviews. The students are selected on the basis of their CAT scores, past academic performance and performance in the interviews. Selected students have scholastic achievements in disciplines such as arts, commerce, science and professional streams such as engineering, technology and medicine. The classes have had a mix of fresh graduates and persons with work experience.

Erudition is the Annual Business Convention jointly organized by MBA (HRD) and MBA (IB). Erudition, being the flagship event of the MBA program of the Department of Commerce, is going to hold the 22nd Business Convention this year.
Atharva is the Annual Management Fest organized by students of MBA (IB). It involves the sharpest management brains across the country, potpourri of events and competitions that encompass various domains of management education in the fields of International Business, Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Consulting. The event sees participation from renowned B-Schools including FMS, IIMs, IMT-Ghaziabad, MDI, etc. and various undergraduate colleges.
Conflux is the Annual Management Fest organized by the Student Development Cell of MBA (HRD), Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics. The event sees participation from renowned B-Schools including FMS, IIMs, IMT-Ghaziabad, MDI, etc. and various undergraduate colleges. Diverse competitions among various students take place in it like Quizzitch (management quiz), Case-O-Mania (case study competition) Best Business Plan, Nautanki Sala (ad mad) to name a few.
