If you think like this the game gets even more difficult. To explain this more clearly let’s study the product life cycle implied in your condition.
The above graph shows students of two types. Type A and Type B students. The only common thing between both these students would be the stress at the initial stages i.e the month of June- July. The type-A student would have the same consistency but the type B student’s consistency and stress level would deflate with the coming days. The reason why Type A student would succeed is because of its consistency. They would study throughout till the end and crack the exams. Type B people won’t be able to do it or would find it more difficult because of the following reasons-:
- Dahi Handi
- Ganesh Chaturthi
When the stress level reaches its peak it would burst energy that would lead you to get irritated at everything, cursing your respective classes, cribbing to your parents, etc. STOP RIGHT THERE..!! People who were so stressed don’t give a shit anymore the moment these festivals arrive. The consistency is lost hence the dream is lost..!!
Type A and Type B students get separated at this point. For eg-: Type A students are like Virat Kohli consistent one knows that he will do his job perfectly and Type B are like Shikhar Dhawan you never know what happens two sixes back to back and then a simple catch and out.! No need for sixes when you can win the match with singles..!!!
Students tend to do everything at once and end up doing nothing at all. You need to be consistent like Virat Kohli and lead a life like him. One needs to stay glued, be consistent, do their best and trust CATKing,
How to win the match with just singles?

Second mock went bad again no issues, third, fourth, fifth don’t be stressed as long as you give them it’s fine. If you wait for the syllabus to get completed from your side as well as the institute’s side you’ll never be done because we even study at the last minute of the exam. Hence we are never done with our syllabus. After appearing for these 15 Mocks you’ll approximately know 1000 questions asked that come in CAT and other entrance exams combined. People who will give mocks would have an upper hand on the people who didn’t give their mocks. Around 10-30 %ile gap between the people who gave Mock tests and people who didn’t appear. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t score in your Mocks, the key here is – NOT TO GIVE UP AND BE CALM & overcome stress and crack the cat.
