The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.

The CMAT-2022 will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Downloading Scorecard:

The CMAT 2024 results are indeed out, and you can download your scorecard by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official NTA website: https://cmat.nta.nic.in/
  2. Look for the "CMAT Scorecard 2024" link (it might be on the homepage or under the "Results" section).
  3. Enter your application number, password, or date of birth (whichever is required).
  4. Click "Submit" and view your scorecard.
  5. Download and save the scorecard in PDF format for your records.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT Examination

  1. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree, whose result will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2023-24, can also apply for CMAT-2023.
  2. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  3. There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT – 2023.

Expected DTE CAP Round Process

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, conducts the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for MBA/MMS admissions in the state. Here is an overview of the expected CAP process:

  1. Online Registration:
    • Candidates must register online on the DTE Maharashtra website by filling out personal, academic, and contact details.
  2. Document Verification:
    • After registration, candidates need to get their documents verified at designated Facilitation Centers (FCs). Documents include mark sheets, CMAT scorecards, domicile certificates, etc.
  3. Provisional Merit List:
    • A provisional merit list is released based on the candidates’ CMAT scores and academic records. Candidates can raise objections if there are discrepancies.
  4. Final Merit List:
    • After addressing objections, a final merit list is published.
  5. Option Entry and Seat Allotment:
    • Candidates must fill in their preferences for colleges and courses online. Based on the merit list and preferences, seats are allocated in multiple CAP rounds.
  6. Reporting to the Allotted Institute:
    • After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission by submitting required documents and paying the fees.
  7. Subsequent Rounds:
    • If seats remain vacant, additional CAP rounds are conducted following the same process.
