The CAT 2024 exam is scheduled for November 24, 2024, and will serve as a key step for admission to the 21 IIMs and top MBA colleges across India. IIM Calcutta will be conducting this year’s exam. As per the official CAT notification released on July 28, 2024, the registration process will open on August 1, 2024, and close on September 20, 2024.

Overview

 

ATMA, or AIMS Test for Management Admissions, is a national-level exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MMS, MCA, and PGDBA programmes. For admission to various management curricula, around 750 management institutes in India accept ATMA scores. A candidate's aptitude must be evaluated in order to advance to higher-level management studies, according to the test's objective. Six sections make up the ATMA exam paper. Multiple times a year, ATMA occurs in the form of a center-based online test at different locations across the country. The exam will be given three times this year.Analytical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and verbal reasoning are all covered in the exam.

Eligibility Criteria 

To receive the ATMA admit card, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  2. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For candidates from reserved categories, a minimum of 45% marks is required from a recognized university.
  3. Provisional Applications: Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply provisionally.
  4. Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear for the ATMA 2024 exam.

Registration Process

The ATMA 2024 application window opened on November 30, 2024, for the February session. Interested candidates can find the application forms on the official ATMA AIMS website. Please note that there is a single application form for all management programs.

Candidates need to indicate their preferences during the application process. The application form is only available online, and offline submissions are not accepted.

Here are the steps to follow for the ATMA 2024 registration:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to atmaaims.com.
  2. Register: Fill in the necessary details to start the registration.
  3. Payment: Pay the registration fee online.
  4. Receive PID: A Personal Identification Number (PID) will be sent to your registered email or mobile number. Keep this PID for future reference.
  5. Complete the Application Form: Log in using your details and fill out the application form.
  6. Enter Information: Provide your residential address, exam center preferences, educational qualifications, postgraduate qualifications, and institute choices.
  7. Upload Documents: Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature in the required format.
  8. Review: Save all entered details and review the application form carefully.
  9. Submit: Click the submit button to complete your ATMA registration for 2024.
  10. Print: Print a copy of your application form and save it for future reference.
