MAH-CET MBA Exam Difficulty Level

Every MBA entrance exam has its own level of difficulty when you compare it with other MBA entrance exams. The CET exam difficulty level also varies from student to student.

When you compare MAH CET with CAT, the syllabus is not that different although CAT doesn’t actually have a well-defined syllabus. MAH CET paper pattern includes 200 questions in 150 mins, however, there is no negative marking.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test commonly known as (MAH-CET) is a computer-based management entrance exam. CET has sections including quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, data sufficiency, logical reasoning, visual reasoning, verbal ability, verbal reasoning, and reading comprehension. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Maharashtra for admission in the MBA/MMS programs in various B-schools all over Maharashtra. The exam is conducted in the month of March every year. It holds immense significance as its score is valid for admission to over 100 management colleges across Maharashtra. Admission to the management courses is a centralized process and is covered under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

CET  Exam  Strategy

  • Prepare for the entry ahead of time: This is not an exam that you can ace in a few weeks of cramming; you must start preparing at least a year ahead of time in order to pass. Enrolling in a crash course or programme that will aid you in properly preparing is critical.
  • Aspirants should be aware of the following topics in their syllabus: The whole CET curriculum, as well as the essential concepts, should be acquainted to aspirants. You should be familiar with all of these areas because the bulk of the questions on this test are based on formulae, algorithms, and school-level concepts.
  • Make good use of your time: Make sure you correctly organize your time and divide your preparation time evenly across all of the sections, since each one is as significant and demands attention in order to pass the test. The curriculum for the broad themes should be covered first, which takes a bit more time, so make sure you divide your time well.
  • Continue to solve problems: Mock exams – Continue to answer as many test questions as you can, as the majority of students do not fare well on the CET examination despite their best efforts. This is due to a lack of knowledge with the answer technique and paper layout.
  • Keep calm: It is quite easy to feel overwhelmed over the course of preparation or a test and slip into a downward spiral of concern; hence, it is important to maintain calm throughout the examination since excessive stress and anxiety will negatively impact your results.
  • Recognize your advantages and disadvantages: When you know where you're going, it's typically easier to plan a vacation to that destination. It's vital to recognize your skills and limits when preparing for a test so that you may turn a weakness into a strength.
  • Plan for your preparation: The importance of preparation and planning in any endeavor cannot be emphasized, particularly when preparing for competitive entrance examinations. Making weekly study plans in which you specify topics to complete on a weekly basis is a smart idea if you want to finish your syllabus on time.
  • Beyond the classroom: We all know how important it is to study hard and commit a few hours each day to preparation, but it's also important to take time for yourself and engage in things that you enjoy feeling rejuvenated. Exercise, go for walks, play sports, or do anything else to relieve tension and prepare for intellectual issues. Get a decent night's sleep, finally.
