This form is very important for all the CAT Aspirants because whatever details you will fill in this form that will go to the IIMs, so make sure that whatever details you will fill are 100% correct. Documents Required While Filling the CAT Application Form

While filling out the CAT application form, you must keep the scanned copy of the following documents: • 10th mark sheet. • 12th mark sheet. • Bachelor’s degree mark sheet. • Final year certificate from Principal and previous year mark sheet (if the candidate is in the final year of college.) • Work experience document. • Category certificate. • Scanned copy of passport-size photo and signature. [Your passport size photo should not be more than six months old] Note: You also need to keep a note of the IIMs you want to apply for and your online payment (credit card/debit card/net banking details).

Here is a step-by-step guide to filling in your CAT application form.

Step 1: Go to the CAT official website and register:

You need to register yourself if you are a new user. Click on the “register” button and enter the following information • Name of the candidate (given in the Class 10th/12th mark sheet) • Date of birth • Valid email address • Valid mobile number • OTP To complete the registration process, you need to generate an OTP by clicking on “Generate OTP” and then you will be directed to a CAPTCHA page. You need to submit the OTP you received on your registered number. After entering the OTP, go to “Validate OTP,” and then you will receive a unique registration ID and password on your registered email ID and phone number

Step 2: Log in to the CAT official website:

You need to log in to the official website using the CAT user ID and password. Once you have logged in, you will be redirected to the applicant’s details page.

Step 3: Fill out the CAT application form:

The CAT registration form is divided into six different categories: • Academic qualifications • Personal details • Work experience • Programs • Test Cities • Payment Before filling out the application form, you must read the instructions properly. Although you can exit and save the details to fill out the form later, you need to know that you cannot move to the next section of the application form until you have entered all the necessary details.

Work Experience:

You must enter your complete work experience by 31 July 2022. You also need to tick the type and work experience in each industry type.

Step 4: CAT Application Fees Payment

After filling out the application form, the last step is to pay the application fees online.
