How to start your preparation?
Preparing for CAT 2024 without proper guidance can be overwhelming and exhausting. Higher chances are there to get burned out and that’s why mentorship is highly suggested here. Without further ado, let’s get on-board with the preparation method.
The paramount trait each aspirant must have regardless of their level is CONFIDENCE. So the first step ever will be if you are too nervous then consider taking CAT 2020, 2021 actual paper just to see where do you stand in your preparation and spare judging yourself as it is too early to make unnecessary conclusions. Situations are volatile and dynamic now so one thing you must keep in mind is that our motive is to prepare ourselves and not demotivate ourselves.
The first 2 months: –
This time is highly crucial for the preparation. Ensure you are studying Monday to Friday 2hours daily (1hr class and 1hr self-study). Now many candidates do a mistake where they prepare in the weekends. This should not be done. We must prepare during weekdays.
What to do in weekends then? Ans- Revise, Consolidate and Chill. This routine will not get preparation to your nerves and you will be mindful of your preparation.
During month 1: –
This should be the time where you set goal of 20days. If you are a CATKing student, then consider taking up 20days challenge course. In this period, focus on concept and improve your speed. Find ways of solving things faster. With CATKing dashboard, you will be provided a dashboard that is specially curated for a structured bent of preparation.
During month 2: –
In the next 20days, take a mock first and then take another 20days challenge for concept building and speed enhancing. Repeat the same process for further topics too. Whence done, take 1 mock each month for 2months.
