The admission process for IIM Rohtak begins with the CAT registration. Candidates must register for CAT by the specified deadline. At this stage, there is no need for a separate application or payment for IIM Rohtak admission. Once the CAT results are announced, IIM Rohtak will open its registration and application window, where candidates can apply by the given deadline with the required application fee.

The selection process for the PGP (MBA) program at IIM Rohtak is conducted in two stages and is based on the CAT score.

Stage 1: Candidates who have a valid CAT score, have applied for the program, and meet the eligibility criteria are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round. The PI round is conducted in multiple cities to accommodate candidates across locations.

Stage 2: After the PI round, IIM Rohtak assigns weights to various criteria, including CAT score, PI performance, academic achievements, diversity, and work experience. Admission offers are then extended to successful candidates based on a comprehensive evaluation of these factors.

An admission offer letter is sent to candidates selected for admission. Those who receive an offer must confirm their acceptance by completing all required formalities within the specified timeframe.

IIM Rohtak has consistently achieved 100% placement, even as its batch size has increased each year. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak successfully completed final placements for the 2022-24 batch of its flagship 2-year Post Graduate Program (PGP), with all 321 participating students securing offers in 2024. Despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, the placement season was a remarkable success, with 237 companies offering roles to the students.

The average salary for the 2024 placements rose to ₹19.27 LPA, up from ₹18.73 LPA the previous year. The highest salary saw a 34% increase, reaching ₹48.25 LPA compared to ₹36 LPA last year. The median salary for the 2024 batch is ₹17 LPA. Additionally, 40 students received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), and 70 new recruiters joined the placement process this year.

In 2024, the average salary for the top 25% of the batch increased to ₹29.28 LPA from ₹28.15 LPA last year, while the top 50% of the batch saw an increase to ₹24.13 LPA from ₹22.64 LPA. Sales & Marketing emerged as the top recruiting domain, accounting for 30% of the offers. Some of the prominent recruiters included Accenture, Aditya Birla, Tata Steel, Amazon, Bain Capability Network, Capgemini, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, GAIL, AB InBev, Axis Bank, Barclays, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Samsung, and Wells Fargo.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak's Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) has set a cut-off of 96% for the CAT exam. This percentile is an essential benchmark for candidates aiming to secure admission into the prestigious program. Financial Assistance     

The participants of the DPM will be given a stipend as mentioned below: 

• Rs. 34,000 for the first two years and  
• Rs. 40,000 after passing the second year 

In addition to this, a merit scholarship (subject to satisfactory performance) of Rs. 10,000 per month in the second year and Rs. 15,000 per month in the third and fourth years is given to the deserving participants. 

Contingency Grant 

All the participants will receive a contingency grant of Rs. 2,50,000/- distributed across four years of the programme. 

Financial Support for Conferences/Academic Exchange 

The participants will be provided financial support for attending national and international conferences as well as for academic exchange visits to partner institutions as per the institute norms. 

Hostel and Medical Facilities 

The DPM of IIM Rohtak is a full-time residential programme and all the participants are required to stay on the campus. The existing medical facilities that are being used by other members of the Institute will be available to them. 

Important 

IIM Rohtak waives tuition fee for the participants who receive the monthly stipend. They are expected to pay admission offer acceptance fee, alumni association fee, and any other expenses and utility fee as specified by the Institute from time to time. 

The participants who are admitted under the categories of non-resident Indians, persons of Indian origin living abroad and other foreign citizens will be required to pay the fees as specified by the Institute.
