About the college
In 1993 the Department was brought into existence by an amendment to IIT (D) statutes. The Department of Management Studies launched MBA programs in 1997. The MBA program at IIT Delhi is designed keeping in mind the changes in the business environment and the needs of the industry. It is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
