The XLRI Jamshedpur admission process is conducted through the XAT exam. To apply for XLRI, candidates must first register for the XAT exam, then complete and submit the XAT application form, along with the required fee. This serves as the common application form for both the XAT exam and the XLRI admission process. The online application for both XAT and XLRI admission is open from mid-July to November at https://xatonline.in/

The XLRI admission process involves two main steps:

1. Registration for the XAT exam
2. Submission of the application for XLRI admission using the common application form

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their XAT exam scores, with both overall and sectional performance being crucial. The XAT exam is a computer-based test held in a single session nationwide, typically on the first Sunday of January. XLRI’s admission policy, which is announced when XAT registration begins, outlines the selection process.

Here’s how the XLRI admission process works:

• Step 1: Register and apply for the XAT exam.
• Step 2: Use the common application form to apply for XLRI admission.
• Step 3: Take the XAT exam in January and score well, both overall and in each section.
• Step 4: Based on XAT scores, XLRI will release the shortlist for the next selection phase.
• Step 5: The final selection round will consist of Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI), conducted in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Jamshedpur during February and March.
• Step 6: The final admission offer will be made in April/May, considering the XAT score, GD-PI-WAT performance, academic background, work experience, and other factors.

XLRI has demonstrated another stellar placement season in 2024, maintaining its position as one of India's premier business schools. The flagship program achieved remarkable compensation figures, with the highest domestic salary reaching 75 lakhs, and an impressive average salary of 29.89 lakhs, both numbers staying consistent with last year's strong performance. XLRI Announces XAT 2024 Cutoffs for BM & HRM Programs: Promoting Diversity and Inclusivity

XLRI—Xavier School of Management, renowned as one of India's premier B-Schools, is thrilled to unveil the XAT 2024 cutoffs for its distinguished Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) programs. Building on the release of the XAT 2024 scorecards on January 20th, 2024, XLRI takes pride in sharing the admission cutoffs for its PGDBM program, catering to both XLRI Jamshedpur and XLRI Delhi-NCR Campuses, alongside the PGDHRM program, meticulously crafted for XLRI Jamshedpur Campus. For aspirants eyeing the Business Management Program, the bar has been set at an overall cutoff of 96 percentile for male candidates with an engineering background. In comparison, non-engineer males have a slightly adjusted cutoff at the 95 percentile. In the human resource management program, male engineers are expected to meet a 95 percentile threshold, whereas non-engineer males are expected to be in the 93 percentile.
