I had joined CATKing for GDPI course for the year 2022-23. In my opinion, it is a very comprehensive course for preparing for GD/PI processes of the top B-schools. The course is basically a mini-MBA or a pre-MBA covering topics like Marketing, Finance, Case studies and Current Affairs. Someone who is not following news regularly, current affairs' sessions really help in reducing anxiety of encountering questions in the interview/GD. You will also get to hear numerous interview experiences of all the B-schools from your peers. Also, current students/alumni of top B-schools will guide you. They will also give you tips for summer placements.

Post CAT, we all have to go through the seemingly endless journey of preparing “Current Affairs", basics of core concepts like finance and marketing as well as the procedure of writing in a Writing Ability Test which is required in every IIM interview. Prior to joining CATKing, I was clueless when it came to these preparations. CATKing's material is comprehensive and provides more than 200 WAT topics across different verticals such as current affairs, business related and lifestyle related to name a few along with functional knowledge dossiers ranging across topics such as finance, marketing, operations, product management, etc. Also, past interview experiences for all the top colleges are cataloged for us to go through. I joined CATKing last year for CAT 2022 just for last two months and from my personal experience, it certainly helped a lot in my prep to 99.44 %ile in it. Their dashboard has a wide variety of practice questions along with vast material for prep strategy. So even if you are planning for self prep, this dashboard content proves to be crucial in it. The mocks are also good considering their difficulty levels, as well as the live solving videos, and mock analysis videos which I felt were better than others. Coming to interview prep, I think that is the area where the dashboard content helps the most, with previous PI experiences, functional dockets, basic information on structuring your answers to college specific PI processes. Also with the connections you form during the WATPI period because of their huge community and considering the fees they charge, I think it was worth every penny I paid.

I had joined CATKing classes . I would have to say it was worth it. Especially the community they maintain across Whatsapp and their portal helps to interact with a lot of fellow candidates and is a great platform to exchange experiences. Also, as a person who was new to SOPs and WATs, the sample materials they provided was of great help. Overall, was a good experience.

I took CATKing subscription after my CAT exam for their WAT/PI dockets. I can say that it was helpful for me. The interview experiences along with the answers helped me a lot. Other than that there were sample SOP’s for each college and I used snippets from those SOP while writing my own for IIM-Bangalore since it is supposed to be a 600-word essay.

I took the CATKing course for my CAT 2022 preparation. Their dashboard is very informative. They have transcripts for every B school interview and knowledge dossiers. They even have videos to prepare answers to basic hygiene questions which would drive most of your interviews. The list of topics for WAT/GD had definitely helped me to form my opinions about various current affairs. As of now, I have offers from IIM Calcutta, Kozhikode, Lucknow, CAP, FMS, MDI Gurgaon. CATKing is definitely worth it for GDPI prep. But, having said that, a candidate also has to work hard because these interviews are very random and it definitely helps to have knowledge on a wide range of topics. CATKing would definitely assist but the hustle has to be done by the candidate. Hope this helps!!!

I joined CATKing for my CAT Prep journey and I could say with absolute certainty that if I would not have taken the interview prep kit, I wouldn’t be writing this today. The dashboard, the WP groups, and the Alumni connects are goldmines for someone trying to ace an interview or prepare an SOP. I started my preparation for CAT really late as I myself wasn’t sure if I would be able to prepare for it while working full time. My strategy for CAT was very plain and simple, I only prepared for topics that I was confident in and left the ones which had few questions in the previous CAT papers.

Firstly, let me share with you my profile; CAT’22: 99.28%ile, IIFT’22: 97.06 %ile, Background: B.Tech from NIT Surat, Final Converts: IIM B, IIM C, IIT B, NITIE, CAP, IIM Indore, FMS I came across CATKing when a friend of mine shared youtube videos of our beloved Rahul sir (founder CATKing). There are videos where an actual B’school student gave live mocks and these types of videos really helped me understand the approach and frame of mind of those people who had already aced CAT. I enrolled with CATKing in their GDPI course, as you know acing CAT is mere a half way to the journey to your dream B-school. The GDPI course of CATKing is well curated with live classes happening daily. More so, these classes will be conducted by none other but the alumni of top business schools of India (You will be learning things from your seniors).
