• Set a Timer for each Question that you solve and not down the timing of that question. With this, you will be able to find out the average time taken by you per question. You can devise a strategy accordingly.
• After attempting each mock break down the questions into segments to find out alternative ways to attempt the question. By alternative, I mean a Quicker way to solve the Question. This will help you create a list of shortcuts.
• You should also Sequence the Questions on the basis of the time you take to solve each question. Try to solve the easy ones first and then go for Difficult questions. After every attempt of mock, Investigate your order of solving the questions. This will help you find out the method that works best for you.
• While solving Mocks take care of Questions in which you are more stuck. Try and solve such type of Questions more to increase your speed.

Tips for Attempting Verbal Section:

• The verbal section consists of a total of 34 questions. It comprises RC which takes up the major portion in your exam.
• RC passages can be very lengthy hence a good reading speed is required. Students face Difficulty in RC because they fail to understand the concept or the message the author is trying to convey. Hence it is necessary to pay attention to the theme of the passage.
• Read the first paragraph of every RC. They will help you determine the level of the passage
• Rate the difficulty level from a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being very easy to 10 being difficult
• Doing this will help you decide whether you should spend a lot of time on the passage or not. If you find that the passage is easy then go for it if you rate the RC as 10 this means that you will never be able to attempt the RC so don't waste a lot of time in That.
• Repeat this procedure for all the RC passages

Tips to increase your accuracy in the CAT exam Quantitative section:

One fundamental determiner of your last score is your exactness level. Any test isn't just about the number of questions you tackle but about the amounts of Questions, you got right. One doesn't generally need to endeavor each Question in the examination to score well. Keeping an accuracy-based approach can go far in upgrading your execution and improving your score significantly.

• It has been seen that a few students slow down out on one Question and consume 15-20 minutes on this Question since they feel that they can settle it. In this way, they ignore the fact that they are likely leaving behind an opportunity of the open door for 5-6 questions which they could have done in a comparable time. In this way moving onto the accompanying Question as opposed to wasting time on a solitary Question can help "up" the score to a more noteworthy degree.
• A decent hold over estimation helps in lessening the time spent on each Question. Learning tables up to 25, squares up to 30 and cube to 20, performing speedy calculations, and knowing ways to deal with finding squares and cubes of three-digit numbers alone progress through Vedic maths assists to endeavor an expanded number of Questions.
