Week 1 at CATKing: From “New Joiner” to “Let’s Get The Party Started!”

Kicking Off the 10th Year of MLP program with Energy, Enthusiasm & Epic Learnings! 

A whole decade of building leaders, sparking transformation, and creating magic through the Management Leadership Program (MLP) at CATKing.

We are done with our first week, and if we had to sum it up in one word, it would be: WOW.

But let’s rewind a bit and walk you through the madness, memories, and mini moments of our first week.

Core Values + High-Energy Kickoff

From the moment we walked in, it was clear,  this isn’t just another average internship. With intros that felt more like getting to know each other, we dived deep into the CATKing values, met our mentors, and most importantly… set our goals.

"You're not here only for work. You're here to learn, lead, and make your own story."

The energy was buzzing and we dived straight into one of the most impactful sessions: CATKing Values & Behaviors.

Instead of just talking about values, we flipped the script.

We lived them.

How? Through a series of interactive role plays where interns acted out real-life office scenarios, from handling a tough client call with empathy, to owning up to a mistake with integrity, to stepping up as a leader when no one else did.

Let’s just say… Some of us have hidden acting talent!!!

Lessons That Hit Home

What made the role plays powerful wasn’t just the laughter or the applause,  it was the realization that CATKing values like:

• Taking ownership of your work

• 3 strike rule

...aren’t just posters on a wall. They're part of everyday decisions, actions, and growth.

The rest of the week flowed with high-energy brainstorming sessions, quick feedback loops, and goal setting. Interns from IIM’s, and many B colleges are also here with us. We are not just learning but also making great connections with each other. Interns have already started aligning their KRAs and KPIs, and there’s one word on everyone’s mind,  impact.

We’re not here to pass time. We’re here to make an impact.

To be part of the 10th-year cohort feels like both an honor and a responsibility. Many have walked this path before, and now it’s our turn to carry the legacy forward.

And if Week 1 was any indication, the next 7 weeks is going to be an transformational journey.

We’ll be sharing our journey week by week, the wins, the ups and downs, and everything in between. So keep an eye on this space.
