Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into the PGDIE/ PGDIM/ PGDSM the candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum aggregate of 60% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ ST/PWD candidates).
- Entrance Exam: The PGDIE candidates will have to take the GATE exam conducted by IITs and the PGDIM/ PGDSM candidates will have to take the CAT exam conducted by IIMs.
NITIE Mumbai PGDIE admission process includes the following stages:

| Shortlisting | The applicants will be shortlisted based on their CAT scores and the eligibility criteria. |
| GD and PI process | The shortlisted candidates will be called to the NITIE campus for Group discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) |
| Final Selection | The final selection is based on the composite score, which will consider the academic records, CAT score, relevant work experience, and performance in the GD and PI process. |
