At Masters’ Union, our dynamic and hands-on pedagogy ensures that each day offers a unique learning experience. With 2-3 classes per day, each spanning 120 minutes, students delve deep into diverse business topics, engaging with expert faculty and their peers in stimulating discussions and practical exercises. Beyond classes, students immerse themselves in a variety of enriching activities throughout the week- CXO Sessions, Industry Practicums, Career Counselling Sessions etc.

Masters’ Union offers more than 87 electives, giving students the chance to construct a tailor-made postgraduate program that fits their personal and professional goals. We have new-age, core, and industry concentrations. Students are free to pursue a generalist path toward management or specialise in particular areas by choosing industry concentrations. Regardless of the path students decide to take during their elective terms, everybody graduates with the same PGP TBM certificate with an opportunity to choose industry concentrations.

The PGP TBM at Masters’ Union, with its unique 16-month format, encapsulates the best global practices in management education through a pedagogical approach. Designed to be a fast-paced academic experience, it includes 13 months of rigorous academic training in core areas and industry concentrations with a three-month period of internship and industry immersion, and opportunities to network and seek mentorship. Being in this state of constant engagement gives an opportunity for students to learn how to set priorities and make choices about learning, socialising and personal time from the very beginning of the programme, making them an expert at decision-making, which is one of the most valued qualities in a business leader.

The final grades for most courses will be determined by a mix of class participation, quizzes, simulations, group assignments, projects and exams. Masters’ Union grades the exams on a Standard Normal Curve, also called a Z-curve, with a mean of 3.0. There are no forced-to-fails. To graduate, students must maintain a mean grade of 2.1 in both the core and electives courses.

While the programme might have the word ‘technology’ integrated within it, our programme is far more holistic in what it encompasses, and allows students from non-tech backgrounds to blend in seamlessly. We ensure our graduates are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to work on a diverse range of tools, from programming concepts to software design. As leaders at the intersection of business, technology, design, marketing and many more, we believe tech is only one out of the several toolkits students will need to acquire at Masters’ Union. Students who choose to immerse themselves and have a more technology-focused emphasis for their journeys can curate their own academic journey through their elective choices.

We value diversity at every level and welcome applications from a variety of professional and academic backgrounds, including the arts, law, medicine, military, and non-profit. As with all candidates, we will be looking for demonstrable leadership potential, and will consider this in conjunction with their professional experience and past performance, when assessing their application.

Yes! While the vast majority of our participants have undergraduate and/or advanced degrees, this is not compulsory for admission. Candidates who do not hold an undergraduate degree, but who have an excellent career record, examination scores and leadership potential are also welcome to apply.

Currently, we are not offering the option to defer admission. Those who cannot join the programme in the current year are advised to apply again next year.

We don’t have any ‘typical’ student profile. The PGP TBM welcomes students from across diverse geographical, academic and professional backgrounds. We encourage students to visit our cohort statistics page to get a better idea of the student profiles of graduates of the PGP TBM.

Work experience is not a mandatory requirement for admission. If students feel they have demonstrable leadership potential along with meritorious academic accomplishments, we encourage them to apply to the Masters’ Union.

Masters’ Union does not have a minimum GPA requirement as the GPA system is not a global grading methodology. We focus on the courses students have taken, grades received and overall academic performance.

There is no age limit for entry. However, the programme is most suitable for those who are at an early stage in their careers. If students have more work experience, we encourage them to get in touch with the admissions team at admissions@mastersunion.org , who will evaluate their profile and advise them accordingly.

While 2-5 years of work experience is ideal, it is not a mandatory requirement for admission. Exceptional students outside this range will also be considered.

As a candidate with less than 2 years of experience, students will not be competing for jobs with more senior peers. Companies offer jobs relevant to different experience bands (0-2 years, 3-5 years, 5-8 years, 8+ years, etc). Organisations would focus more on their skill set as compared to their past experience.

Each round is equally competitive, with the same acceptance ratio across all rounds. The most important factor is to dedicate sufficient time and effort into your application to accurately showcase your strengths and talents. However, applying in Round 1 offers several advantages:

  • Scholarships: If scholarships are a priority, we encourage applying in Round 1.

  • Hostel Room Choice: Round 1 students get priority in selecting their hostel rooms, ensuring they can choose from the best available options.

  • Notice Period: They have ample time to serve notice periods at their current jobs.

  • Break Before Studies: They can take a well-deserved break before starting 16 months of intensive study.

  • Loan and Funding: They have more time to apply for loans and arrange funds.

Note: The conversion table designed by GMAT, is to help students convert their GMAT Focus score to the equivalent standard GMAT score and vice versa. To convert their scores, students should locate their GMAT Focus score in the left column and find the corresponding standard GMAT score in the right column.
