CMAT score vs Percentile – a quick read  The Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) score is important, but it's only part of the picture. To understand how well you did compared to other test-takers, you need to look at your CMAT percentile.

  • CMAT Score: This is the raw number of marks you get on the exam, out of a maximum of 400.
  • CMAT Percentile: This tells you what percentage of test-takers scored lower than you. So, a 90th percentile score means you did better than 90% of the candidates.

The Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) is an annual exam for admission to various B-Schools. To achieve a perfect 100 percentile, candidates typically need a score between 345 to 350. For a percentile range of 90 to 99.99, scores typically fall between 281 to 340, while securing the 81 to 89 percentile requires a score of 201 to 280. Using the CMAT predictor can help candidates evaluate their overall performance and estimate their expected cutoff.
