How to Get Admission to JBIMS?
The Institute was founded in 1965 by the University of Mumbai. JBIMS has been a pioneer in management education. JBIMS is consistently ranked among the top 10 premier B-schools in the country with a legacy spanning over the past 52 years. India’s first full time 2-year Masters in Management studies (MMS) was started in JBIMS under the stewardship of the late Dr. K. S. Basu. JBIMS admission for its two-year Masters in Management Studies (MMS) Program is through DTE CAP, which is held in July by the DTE Maharashtra. JBIMS Mumbai provides MMS and MSc Finance, MHRD as well as a part-time MBA in Management for working people. MAHCET, CMAT, CAT are the qualifying examinations for JBIMS admission. Based on their admission exam results, candidates are then invited to take a personal assessment examination. Separate merit lists will be produced for JBIMS Mumbai admission under the MAH and All India categories.
The institution provides a full-time Masters in management studies program and a Masters in Finance (MSc Finance) program. The course duration is two years for both programs. - Admission to MMS programs is based on the MBA CET exam score.
- The academic session for the above-mentioned programs begins in August.
- Candidates having CAT/CMAT scores can also apply for the same courses provided, they should fulfill the minimum cut-off set by the college.
