IIM Bangalore Highlights 2025

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is a premier graduate business school in Asia. According to the NIRF 2024 rankings, IIMB holds the 2nd position among top management institutes in India and ranks 31st globally in the Masters in Management category by QS World University Rankings 2024. Additionally, Business Today ranked IIMB 3rd in 2023.

Founded in 1973, IIMB is renowned for its distinguished faculty, many of whom have studied and taught at some of the world's top universities. IIMB offers a wide range of programs, including Certificate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses in management. Admissions to these programs are based on entrance exams such as CAT, GATE, and others, with the selection process involving WAT, GD, and PI rounds.

With a faculty strength of over 150 members, IIMB is home to around 1,200 students across various degree programs and attracts nearly 5,000 participants annually for its Executive Education programs. IIMB’s flagship programs include its MBA and various certificate courses in management.

The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Online applications are available on IIMB website under Admissions tab.

Online GMAT/GRE scores are not accepted for EPGP 2025-26 batch admission.

Although both are full-time residential programmes leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA), the EPGP is a one-year programme while the PGP is for two years. The EPGP is designed specifically for professionals with Minimum 5 years (and preferably less than 12 years) of work experience after completion of graduation. The programme provides a foundation in key management concepts and disciplines and builds on students' existing experience to prepare them for senior management positions.
