IIM Jammu Popular Programmes 2026
Indian Institute of Management Jammu is an ‘Institute of national importance’ incorporated by the Indian Institutes of Management Act, 2017. Our vision is to develop leaders and entrepreneurs who can perform globally to make a valuable difference to the Society and the Corporate world.
The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year, full-time, residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. Each year consists of three trimesters, with 8 weeks of summer internship.
The objectives of two year Post-Graduate Programme are:
- To enable students to understand the socio-economic, technological, ecological and political environment of India and the globe.
- To equip students with required conceptual and interpersonal skills for managerial decision making in structured/unstructured environments.
- To inculcate positive thinking and problem solving skills to demonstrate leadership & team building in cross-cultural environment.

Admission Process 2026
This document summarizes the approach of IIM Jammu to prepare the admission list for its MBA Batch 2024-26. The batch size is likely to be around 300. IIM Jammu reserves the right to modify any part of this document, including the various criteria and cut-offs mentioned at any time till the actual admission process for the batch is completed.
The admission process of IIM Jammu consists of:
- CAT Examination
- Shortlisting the candidates for Personal Interview (PI) process
- Conducting the Personal Interview (PI) process: The 10 IIMs (IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Nagpur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy, and IIM Udaipur) together will conduct Personal Interview (PI) through Common Admission Process (CAP 2024 process) to be coordinated this year by IIM Udaipur.
- In addition to the Common Admission Process as mentioned, IIM Jammu will conduct an additional Supplementary Admission Process (SAP 2024) for candidates who meet IIM Jammu PI shortlisting criteria but do not meet the CAP 2024 cut off criteria.
- Preparing the Merit List based on CAT, PI, and Profile scores are indicated in the following tables.
Criteria for Preparing the Merit List
The criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the score obtained after adding the following:
- CAT Score: 0.4 × Absolute CAT Percentile
- Personal Interview (PI): 30 Marks
- Profile: 30 Marks
The above three scores shall be added and will be used to make the final merit list.
2.1 CAT Score (40% weightage)
IIM Jammu will use CAT 2024 score. One candidate can get maximum 40 marks

IIM Jammu Cutoff 2026
The admission process for IIM Jammu’s MBA batch of 2024-26 involves shortlisting candidates based on their CAT scores, conducting the Personal Appearance (PA) round, and preparing the final merit list for those selected for admission. The IIM Jammu admission policy for 2024 has been officially released, providing key details for prospective candidates.
The cut-off percentiles for shortlisting candidates are determined as part of the IIM Common Admission Process (CAP). For IIM Jammu’s CAT 2023 qualifying cut-offs, the requirements are as follows: 91 percentile for the General category, 74 percentile for EWS and NC-OBC categories, 54 percentile for the SC category, and 32 percentile for the ST category.

IIM Jammu to offer 20 scholarships of Rs 1.5 Lakh each to meritorious students of EWS
JAMMU: With a motto to provide cross-cultural exposure and a global perspective to the students, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu under International Students Exchange Programme (SEP) has decided to offer 20 scholarships of Rs 1.5 lakh each for meritorious students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) to participate in the Students Exchange programme (SEP) and Academic International Events every year.
IIM Jammu spokesperson said, "The Students Exchange Programme (SEP) initiated by the institute has become increasingly popular among the students."
Speaking on the occasion, Prof BS Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu said, “As an Institute of national importance, we seek to equip our students with a globally inclusive management education covering all aspects of management of institutions of the future."
"We have always believed in providing all possible support and assistance to our meritorious students wherein the financial assistance offered by the Institute is a bold step toward facilitating our students as part of an international student exchange programme."
Director IIM Jammu Prof Sahay further added that currently, we have a total of 15 international academic partners for student and faculty exchanges and five international partners have been added this year."

"Under IIM Jammu’s International Student Exchange Program, 11 students from MBA batch 2020-22 were sent to partner institutions for one term, he said, adding, "the 5th batch of MBA students was undeterred by the pandemic situation procured seats in the International Student Exchange Program (SEP) with five Prestigious B-Schools namely Groupe ESC Clermont, France, SolBridge International School of Business, South Korea, Montpellier Business School, France, University of Scranton, USA and the University of Bradford, UK."
IIM Jammu Infrastructure
The State of the Art 200 acre permanent campus of IIM Jammu is coming up at Jagati, 14 Kms. from Jammu City, about 16 Kms. from Jammu Railway Station and 18 Kms. from Jammu Airport. The proposed Campus will be a blissful mix of modern architecture, culture and heritage of Jammu and Kashmir. At present IIM Jammu operates from the Old University Campus, Canal Road, Jammu.
IIM Jammu complete campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Computer Centre at IIM Jammu has a fast and reliable computer network of more than 500 devices. Institute has 40Mbps to 1 GBps Internet leased line connectivity. All the Hostels, Faculty Blocks, Administrative Block, Classrooms, Library, LAB and Sports area are connected through wired and Wi-Fi connectivity. Three classrooms have a seating capacity of 100 students and have two projectors with the audio system. Wireless network is also enabled in the Mess, Bank and Security Blocks.
IIM Jammu Library acts as a learning resource centre for the IIM Jammu academic fraternity. The Library has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include Books, Journals, E-Databases, E-journals, reports, case studies.
Well equipped Gym, sports complex take care of students fitness. The health centre at IIM Jammu is well equipped; cafeteria satisfies mid night food requirements; Computer Lab, incubator and other facilities encourage the students to make full use of their time at IIM Jammu.
