JBIMS offers doctoral-level programme, Ph.D. (Management studies) through its well recognized research center affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The Ph.D. programme is  designed for students interested in management teaching, research, and consultancy.

Selection Procedure/ Admission 

The desirous candidates will apply on the portal of the institute for admission to M.Sc. in Finance (M.Fin.) Programme. The candidates should have appeared for MH-CET 2022 or CAT 2021 to be eligible for the process. The application form will be opened for a stipulated period for applying to the admission process of M.Sc. Finance.   

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute Of Management Studies Offers a 2-year full-time management programme "Master in Management Studies". The M.M.S. Course at JBIMS covers the major areas of business and management, with a strong emphasis on the entrepreneurial as well as the managerial skills. This programme not only concentrates on a variety of questions faced by management specialists but also focuses on decision-making from a management perspective. The Course duration of two years is divided into four semesters along with a summer internship project(s) of 8-12 weeks between the second and the third sememster in the months of may,June and July. During the second year of the degree, the students will have to specialize in a field of their choice. Areas of specialization offered in this 2-year full-time programme: Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR and Systems.

Students who enrolled & sucessfully completed a master's degree in management studies have a comprehensive understanding of business & management and get introduced to a great number of career opportunities in different fields such as Management, Finance, Marketing, Consultancy, Operations & Supply Chain, HR & many more.

Selection Procedure/ Admission

Students who intend to pursue a Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) degree must pass an enterance examination administered by the respective authorities.
For taking admisssion in this programme, applicants must crack the MAH-MBA CET Exam sucessfully in order to be considered.
The selection of Students for M.M.S. programme is conducted through the common admission process i.e. CAP Rounds; carried out by DTE, Maharashtra.

“Master of Human Resource Development (MHRD)” is a 2-year full time master degree program started in 2019. The program is designed for aspirants with a strong desire to specialize in Human Resource Management. It focuses on developing HR leaders integrated with the Business as Partners. The program offers an extensive curriculum which includes a series of courses in various areas of Management apart from HR courses. These are multidisciplinary courses which are important for Strategic planning and Decision making.

Selection Procedure/ Admission

The admission procedure consists of:

  • Written Test (WT) - 100 marks
  • In Person Assessment (IPA) - 100 marks     

In Person Assessment (IPA) includes

  • Group Activity – 40 marks
  • Personal Interview – 50 marks
  • Written Ability Test – 10 marks

The written test consists of 100 questions for 1 mark each. The questions are multiple choice questions where the correct response is scored as 1 depending upon the correct and desired choice. 100 questions include:

  • 20 questions on Numerical Ability (NA)
  • 20 questions on General and Business Environment Awareness (GA)
  • 20 questions on Human Behavior Aspect (HB)
  • 20 questions on Group Dynamics (GD)
  • 20 questions on Individual Behavior (IB)

The Written Test scores have 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers in the Numerical ability and General and Business environment awareness sections. The other three sections do not have any negative marking.
