Immersion Programmes (10 Days)

LBSIM offers three immersion programs designed to provide students with diverse learning experiences:

  • International Immersion (10 Days) – Select Merit Students
    LBSIM has partnered with global universities in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Dubai to offer a 10-day international immersion for meritorious students. In 2023, 40 students participated in these programs, which included niche management workshops, industrial tours, and cultural learning.

  • Rural Bharat Immersion (10 Days) – All Students
    LBSIM is a pioneer in Rural Bharat Immersion in India, partnering with top NGOs across 5 States: Uttarakhand, UP, MP, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Students study rural communities for 10 days, addressing the challenges faced by these communities. The student's academic submissions and presentations are evaluated as part of a full-credit course.

  • Leadership Outbound Immersion (10 Days) – All Students
    LBSIM focuses on leadership development through a 10-day outbound program in Uttarakhand and Jharkhand with the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation. This program helps students develop skills in planning, communication, and team dynamics.

Industry Partnerships

LBSIM maintains partnerships with global leaders in technology, such as IBM, SAS, and Bloomberg. The institute regularly conducts workshops on advanced topics, including Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Research Techniques, and Data Visualization.

Entrepreneurship & Incubation Cell (EIC)

LBSIM’s Entrepreneurship & Incubation Cell (EIC) collaborates with IIM Lucknow – Noida EIC to foster entrepreneurial excellence and offer funding opportunities to start-ups. Many LBSIM alumni have secured funding through platforms like Shark Tank.

Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence

The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence is presented annually by the President or Vice President of India at their official residence to individuals excelling in their fields. Recent recipients include:
