Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, commonly referred to as SNAP, is considered one of the most difficult tests for admission to MBA programs in India. Conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SNAP serves as the basis for admission into more than 17 prestigious Symbiosis Institutions such as the highly regarded Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune, Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) & Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS). More than 60,000 candidates apply to take SNAP each year.

No matter whether you are a new applicant charting your course to MBA studies or an old applicant improving on your previous attempt, here's all the information that you will require regarding SNAP examination.

Key Highlights of SNAP 2025

SNAP is an entrance examination at the national level organized every year by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Unlike other exams like CAT and XAT, which cater to several B-schools, SNAP is the sole gateway for admission to all the MBA and MBA (Innovation & Entrepreneurship) courses offered by the Symbiosis Group.

The most favorable aspect of SNAP for students is the fact that it is held thrice in a year, usually between December and January. The highest score among all attempts determines the student's eligibility, making each attempt truly the last and final one.

SNAP is a computer-based test (CBT) of 60 minutes duration with 60 questions. It tests candidates across three sections: General English, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency.
