Rural management has become a prime focus in the present time. India’s rural population is more than that of the urban which automatically creates a large market exposure for companies and gains customers at large. Rural management consists of handling products that fulfill the needs of the people in rural areas and keep them satisfied with the service.
The expansion of education, along with growing incomes and aspirations facilitated by advancements in Information and Communication Technology, has transformed the rural sector in India into a dynamic hub for economic growth. In line with India's 'rural resurgence', many businesses are now venturing into rural areas to expand their market share and sustain their growth trajectory. This trend has led to a surge in demand for professionals who possess insights into rural consumer behavior, understand the market potential, and are adept at managing corporate operations in rural settings.
The educational approach focuses on a blend of theoretical lectures, practical rural projects, industry visits, and hands-on research experiences gained through rural internships. This curriculum offers comprehensive knowledge of rural management alongside essential general management skills, delivered by esteemed academics and industry experts from leading companies.
