CAT : List of exam centres

Indian Institute of Management, Indore will conduct the Common Admission Test 2020 and will release the list of CAT 2020 exam centres. Candidates will be given the choice to settle on a minimum of four exam centres of CAT while they fill the application form. In 2019 there were 156 cities where the exam was held as compared to 2018 when CAT was conducted in 147 cities. While registering for the exam, candidates must make sure that they choose the CAT exam centres which is comparatively on the brink of their house so as to avoid any inconvenience. CAT will be conducted on November 29 in computer-based mode. How To Choose CAT Test Centres?

  • Candidates will need to select a minimum of six cities where they would like to appear for CAT while filling out the application form in 2024.
  • Selection of CAT exam centers for 2024 should be made in order of preference.
  • Candidates will be allotted the city of their choice based on the availability of seats at that particular test center. If a seat isn't available at the first-choice center, the candidate will be allotted a seat in the next available test center according to their preferences.

CAT Exam Centres

The CAT exam for 2024 will likely be conducted in more than 350 exam centers across India. The exact list of states and cities will be available on the official IIM website closer to the application date.

During the application process for CAT 2024, candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred exam cities. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) responsible for conducting CAT may increase or decrease the total number of exam centers depending on the number of applications received for each center.

When will the CAT Admit Card be released?

The exact date hasn't been announced yet, but it's typically released on November 7, 2024. The CAT 2024 Admit Card will mention the precise address of the test center.
