IIM Bangalore MBA-EPGP Admissions (Round 3):
Applications for Round 3 of the MBA-EPGP program are currently open. The final date to apply is December 2, 2024. The Round 1 IIMB Test for this program will also take place on October 26 – October 7, 2024.

IIM Bangalore PhD 2025 Applications:
Applications for the PhD 2025 program are now open, with the application deadline set for January 24, 2025. The Round 1 IIMB Test for PhD applicants will be held on November 17, 2024.

MBA-PGPEM 2025 Admissions:
Applications for the MBA-PGPEM program are open, with the last date for submission on January 20, 2026. The Round 1 IIMB Test for this program will also take place on November 17, 2024.

CAT 2024 for MBA/PGDM Admissions:
The registration for CAT 2024 has concluded, and the exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024, for those applying to MBA/PGDM programs at IIM Bangalore.

Admission Process 2026

IIM Bangalore follows a two-stage selection process for MBA admissions. In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted for Personal Interviews (PI) based on their CAT scores. Those selected for the interview must also complete a Writing Ability Test (WAT), where they must write on a topic provided by IIMB. In the second stage, the final selection is made based on the candidate's performance in the WAT, PI, and pre-PI scores.

Eligibility

To apply for admission to IIM Bangalore, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. The minimum requirement for candidates from the SC/ST/PwD categories is relaxed to 45%. Candidates in the final year of their undergraduate degree or have completed their degree but are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for IIMB Admission 2025.

IIM Bangalore Scholarships 2026

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Scholarships are extended as financial aid to students in need of assistance. Need based IIM Bangalore scholarships up to hundred percent are offered to deserving candidates, based on their income and demonstrated financial inadequacy. IIM Bangalore Scholarships are also offered to exceptionally talented students based on their merit.  IIMB also provides a competitive package to all those who join the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). FPM students receive a stipend in addition to tuition waiver for up to four years and nine months, helping them cover their living expenses.  In addition, there are various grants that they are entitled to.

  • Need-Based Financial Assistance: Available for MBA/PGP students with a family income below INR 8,00,000 annually. Aid is granted based on financial need and can cover up to 100% of tuition fees.

  • Aditya Birla Scholarship: Merit-based, awarded to top 25% students of the batch, with an amount of INR 1.75 lakh.

  • OPJEMS Scholarship: Awarded to the top 10 second-year PGP students, based on performance and an online test. The scholarship amount is INR 1.5 lakh.

  • NTPC Scholarship: Offered to SC/ST/PwD second-year students who have cleared the first year in one attempt. The scholarship provides INR 48,000 annually.

  • Employment in Social Sector Scholarship: This reimburses one-third of the fees for students working in the social sector for the first three years post-graduation.

  • Ministry Scholarships: The Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment offer scholarships covering full tuition for Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste students, respectively. The PwD scholarship is for students with at least 40% disability and provides INR 2.55 lakh annually.

  • State Government Scholarships: Additional state-level scholarships are available through IIMB’s financial aid office.

  • IIMB Alumni Scholarships: These are awarded to students during the PGP inauguration ceremony.
