The objective of MCA is to develop information and technology professionals and blend theoretical knowledge with practical skills. This is achieved by bridging the gap between academia and industry and incorporating the latest technologies of the industry in the syllabus.

Key highlights of the MCA Program are 

• Electives: In addition to the core courses and specializations, the MCA program offers a range of elective courses in emerging areas such as Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Cryptography and Networking Security, Cloud Computing and Web Programming. These courses are designed to help students stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the field.
• Digital Content: Apart from classroom teaching, the students get access to the extensive digital course materials, PPTs, assignments for each course.
• Practical Learning: The MCA program at ISME emphasizes practical learning, with classrooms equipped with smart boards and wireless speakers to give learners a theory-and-practical learning experience. We provide opportunities for students to participate in intercollege computer-science fests, marathons, hackathons, etc. These events provide students with hands-on experience and the opportunity to work on real-world problems.
• Interdepartmental Courses: The MCA program offers interdepartmental courses, which allows students to take courses from other departments and gain a broader understanding of topics beyond computer science.
• Placement Training: The COC department at ISME provides placement training, with mock interviews, placement assistance and other resources to help students prepare for job interviews and launch their careers in the IT industry.
• Project: The MCA program requires students to complete a mini project in third semester and a major project in the fourth semester. This allows students to conduct research in a specific area of interest and gain experience.
