Selection Process
Step 1: Each candidate must take at least one of the following exams: CAT, XAT, and GMAT
Step 2: All candidates are examined using the MICAT, which has three portions.
Section A: Psychometric Examination
Section B (four sub-sections): - Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thought
Section C: Descriptive Examination
Step 3: Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their performance in any of the following exams must attend both the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
Procedure for Shortlisting:

MICAT part A (Psychometric test) is a qualifier during the shortlisting process.

Candidates who qualify for section A are evaluated based on their relative performance on the CAT/ XAT/ GMAT, and those who earn a valid score in this exam are considered for section B of the MICAT assessment.

Those who qualify based on their relative performance in Section B will have their MICAT Section C scores evaluated.

Candidates that pass section C are shortlisted for the GE and PI rounds in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, or Mumbai.

The list of GE and PI applicants is based on a composite score formula of 50% CAT/ XAT/ GMAT and 50% MICAT results.
