TISSNET Exam

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts a National Entrance Test (NET) exam known as TISSNET. The exam is conducted for all Masters programmes offered in TISS campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi.

Here’s the eligibility criteria for TISSNET Exam:

a) Candidates with a bachelor’s degree (minimum of three years duration) or equivalent from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

b) At the time of applying, candidates studying in three-year degree programmes should have passed all subjects from the first to fourth semesters; while candidates studying in four-year degree programmes should have passed all subjects from the first to sixth semester

c) Only those candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor’s Degree examinations by the first week of June are eligible to apply to all the programme.

d) There’s no age limit for TISSNET exam.
Till the time the candidate submits the results of the final year degree examination, admission to any of the Master’s Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional, informed the official website. For those who fail to do so the provisional admission stands canceled.
