Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai offers a variety of courses for post-graduation, but for a management aspirant, M.A in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations is of prime interest.TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) in Mumbai offers a variety of Master’s programs at its different campuses.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts a National Entrance Test (NET) exam known as TISSNET. The exam is conducted for all Masters programmes offered in TISS campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi.
TISS does not offer any MBA programme. Instead, it offers MA in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR) programme at its Mumbai campus. It also offers various other Masters degrees.
TISS-NET is a computer-based entrance exam. The entrance test consists of objective questions related to Social Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability and Knowledge on Contemporary issues. The exam is held for 100 minutes (1-hour & 40 minutes).
Candidates are first shortlisted on the basis of TISS NET scores. They are later called for Pre-Written Test or/and Personal Interviews.
