The right strategy for preparing DILR for CAT

Prior to implementing the ideal DILR improvement technique. You must be aware that there is no "one" ideal tactic or method for raising DILR. Every kid has a unique approach that they use. However, we will discuss the most common tactic in this article. It centers on two things:

Time management-

The main game in this part of the exam is time management, which involves making the best use of your available time. You will succeed on the test if you can control your time and answer the right questions honestly.

Question Selection-

The ability to choose which groups of questions to solve and which to ignore is crucial. The exam's sets are broken down into easy, moderate, and difficult categories. Consequently, choosing sets becomes a game-changer. One must make use of the first few minutes of the time allotted—say, let's the first four minutes—to quickly scan through each set and make a note of its important points. Classify them as follows (suppose)

  • Set-1: Seating Arrangement
  • Set-2: Knockout Tournament
  • Set-3: Miscellaneous
  • Set-4: Distribution etc.

Then, based on one's abilities, choose the difficulty level of each set, and finally, respond to the question "What sets am I going to answer and in what sequence (from easy to hard)?" It shouldn't take more than five minutes to do this activity. A candidate has therefore planned out the next 35 minutes and the best line of action after making the initial sacrifice of 5 minutes. Now, in addition to selecting the appropriate number of sets, one must remember to complete one set, including all of the questions, in no more than 13–14 minutes. To solve all of the selected sets, this amount of time is more than enough. Additionally, you want to try to incorporate it in your mock exams and eventually build it up to reach your goal.
