IIM Lucknow achieves 100% Placements!

The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow which is popularly known as IIM-L recorded 100% final placements for its final year batch of 460 students within just three days. The recruitment drive saw participation from over 147 domestic and foreign recruiters. Prepare for CAT with this course curated by IIM and SP Jain Alumni The highest international salary offered was Rs 58.47 lakh and the best domestic was Rs 54 lakh, said a statement by officials of the institute. The students got placed and were offered packages of mean Rs 24.25 lakh and median Rs 23 lakh.
  The key aspect of the placement drive was recruiters from various firms like Alvarez and Marsal, Aditya Birla Group, Bain and Co, Hindustan Unilever, JP Morgan Chase, MasterCard Advisors, McKinsey and Company, and The Boston Consulting Group. Top E-commerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Google, and Wipro offered high placement packages in the institute. Companies like Artefact, IQVIA, and Splash (Landmark group) placed students for international profiles. Consulting companies like Accenture, Alvarez and Marsal, Bain and Co, McKinsey and Co, and the Boston Consulting Group were among the major recruiters at the institute. The top 3 companies included Accenture, Deloitte, and the Boston Consulting Group. About 145 job offers from a total of 460 were made by the consulting firms.
  This year the IIM Lucknow saw a huge spike in the placements from the General Management and Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance domains. Companies such as Aditya Birla Group (ABG), Airtel, Hinduja Group, Lodha Group, and RPG came from General Management recruitment. Aditya Birla Group and RBG were the companies that made the highest offer. Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector offered 81 jobs for a diverse set of profiles. The sector had offers from companies like Axis Capital, Avendus Capital, Citibank, DBS, Edelweiss, ICICI Bank, JP Morgan Chase, KOIS Invest, Kotak Bank, Whiteboard Capital among others. Over 70 offers were from consumer goods, telecom, and digital media sector. Airtel, Colgate Palmolive, Dr. Reddy’s, GSK, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, P&G, Pepsi, Puma, Samsung, and Star TV were some of the top firms in the placement process. This year the institute saw many first-time recruiters which included firms like Artefact, ACT, Axis Capital, Bain & Company, IQVIA, KOIS Invest, Ola, Optum, Udaan, Whiteboard Capital, and Xiaomi among others. Get mentored by top IIM scorers IIM Lucknow has now become the most preferred destination for the recruitment process. According to the Institute's officials, top job roles were offered from the consulting, finance, sales, and marketing and business development domains along with some unconventional profiles in the finance domain. About 32% of the total job offers were from the consulting firms, followed by finance and sales and marketing at 16% each. The E-commerce based companies placed about 15% of the students and the remaining from the General Management and IT systems sector. The top job profiles were from the domains of finance, market research, analytics, business development, social media marketing, front end investment banking, global markets, investment research, corporate/wholesale/retail banking, market research, trading, and operations, category management, sales enablement, supply chain management, product marketing, strategic alliances, program manager and HR. Unconventional domains like operations/supply chain, general management, and systems/IT also had many recruiters. The Institute's recruitment analysis showed that many companies preferred students with previous work experience to help them prepare for work and develop general business awareness.
