PGDM Course is a two-year's full-time Post Graduation Diploma Program in Management offered by B-schools that Government of India's nodal body recognizes for technical education - All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) MBA is a degree course offered by the Universities (both Government and Private) and Colleges affiliated to these Universities In Maharashtra State, admission for MBA is governed by DTE Admission for PGDM is made at the respective institute's level as per the AICTE guidelines Both MBA & PGDM are full-time Management programs

There are two main eligibility criteria to take admission in AICTE approved PGDM program Student must have completed graduation with 60% in aggregate (45% in case of reserved category) Student must have appeared for entrance test as specified by AICTE - CAT/MAT/CMAT/MH-CET (for Maharashtra colleges), ATMA & XAT. Any test score is sufficient to apply for PGDM admission. Students appearing for final year graduation and entrance test as specified (for the respective academic year) can also appear for the admission process laid out for the PGDM. For IIEBM PGDM Course, final selection and admission are subject to the student's merit.
