The flagship programme of SCMHRD is a two year full-time residential course spread over four semesters offering specializations in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and Operations Management. The flagship program of SCMHRD is the two year full-time residential MBA that is offered over 4 Semesters. It requires you to undertake 100 credits across various functional areas. You are given the power to customise your MBA through a basket of electives. Hence “you can learn what you choose to learn”.

MBA graduates from SCMHRD just don’t join any industry house – they influence it, shape it, and change it for the better. MBA at SCMHRD goes beyond the traditionally tried and tested methods to instill in students a complete entrepreneurial mindset. The program teaches students to not only recognize opportunity, but to create it, an essential ability in a business environment that is constantly evolving both inside and outside of their organizational environment. SCMHRD focuses exclusively on leadership education with focus on education and research in solving the leadership challenges plaguing the organizations of today.

SCMHRD specializes in producing quality talent in the fields of HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Infrastructure Management and Business Analytics. The institute believes to impart wholesome knowledge through experience and practical learning. SCMHRD Pune, offers UGC recognized Symbiosis International University (SIU) affiliated MBA degree programmes which include MBA, MBA in Business Analytics, MBA Infrastructure Development & Management, and MBA Executive programmes. Admission to SCMHRD Pune MBA programmes is through SNAP Test conducted by SIU Pune. The institute does not accept score of any other exam for admission. 

Admission Process 2026

Step 1: Prospective candidates must register for and take the SNAP Test, achieving the minimum required percentile to be eligible for SCMHRD Pune’s admission process.

Step 2: In addition to applying for the SNAP Test, candidates should also complete the registration for SCMHRD Pune’s MBA program through the SNAP application form. This requires paying an additional fee of ₹1000 per program.

Step 3: Candidates should retain the SNAP Test admit card, as it will be necessary for the subsequent selection stages at SCMHRD Pune. Simply appearing for SNAP does not automatically advance a candidate to the next stage in the SCMHRD selection process.

Step 4: SCMHRD Pune shortlists candidates based on their SNAP scores. Each year, the institute publishes specific criteria for shortlisting candidates for the MBA program. Shortlisted applicants who have met the eligibility requirements and applied for admission will be invited to participate in the GE-WAT-PI (Group Exercise, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview) round.

Step 5: The final round of the selection process, consisting of GE-WAT-PI, will be conducted in person at the SCMHRD Pune campus.

Step 6: Following the GE-WAT-PI round, final admission offers will be extended to selected candidates. These offers are based on an evaluation of the SNAP score, performance in GE, WAT, and PI, along with additional criteria set by the institute. Offer letters will be sent via email and physical mail to the addresses provided by candidates in their application forms.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) or equivalent grade) and minimum two years full time work experience after completion of graduation.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The concession in marks at graduation for SC/ST candidates does not apply to International candidates.
