SOIL’s AICTE 2 year PGDM is a bold and radical step in changing management education. This 2 Year PGDM is India’s first program integrating Business, Design Thinking and Liberal Arts. The program aims at rediscovering the creative potential in its students thereby creating business leaders who excel in innovation and creativity.

The SOIL PGPM program focuses on a full-time, post graduation program providing a solid foundation in major business disciplines and core business skills. Business Specializations in Analytics, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources provide you a strong grounding in key management skills.

Leadership experiences in self-leadership, meditation, compassion, sustainability, mindfulness and ethics and experiential sessions through the Himalayan outreach trip and social innovation work provide many different dimensions to your leadership journey and growth.

The SOIL PGPM HR program focuses on developing HR Leaders with a global perspective who are equipped to handle the workload of an HR Manager / professional in various industries and situations. PROFILE SHORTLISTING

SOIL shortlist students based on the following criteria. We shortlist students considering their overall profile going beyond the academic scores. The following key aspects are looked at during a shortlisting exercise.

DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP

A hands-on, activity-based session built around the Design Thinking process. The students will be taught about the process of design thinking and the ways to practice and implement the learning.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

Interviews with short-listed candidates will be conducted by a faculty member and a senior member of the industry. 

ADMISSION RESULT

Final decisions will be emailed to all candidates within four weeks of taking the interview.

REGISTRATION & SCHOLARSHIP

Once a student registers for the program by paying the initial fees of INR 2,10,000, the student is eligible to apply for PGDM Scholarships.

The PGPM program achieved the highest package of 22 Lakhs, while the PGDM (2 Years) program saw an impressive highest offer of 27 Lakhs. The average salary figures remain competitive with PGPM students receiving 11.3 Lakhs, PGPM-HR at 10.5 Lakhs, and PGDM students securing an average of 11.34 Lakhs. The placement season attracted 64 leading companies, including prominent names like ABB, Aditya Birla Capital, HDFC Bank, ITC, JSW, KPMG, and TATA Group companies. The institute's strong industry connections have helped maintain its position as one of the leading B-schools in North India, particularly notable for its specialized HR program and industry partnerships.

SOIL Institute of Management requires candidates to meet specific score thresholds for various entrance exams. For admission to the PGDM program, candidates must have a CAT or NMAT score of 80+ and a XAT score of 75+ percentile. For the PGPM program, candidates are expected to have a GMAT score of 550+ and a score of 210+ in NMAT. These criteria ensure that students admitted to SOIL possess the academic foundation necessary for the rigorous management curriculum.

SOIL is committed to ensuring that our program is available for the most committed and high potential leaders of tomorrow. In order to achieve this, it has allocated scholarships worth 2 crores (For all SOIL Programs) in total that are mentioned below:

Students who have a stellar academic track record and past achievements in the academic field.

Students whose gross annual family income is below Rs.5,00,000 during the previous financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Constituted in the honour of Dr V Kurien, the father of the White Revolution in India and is given to the wards of farmers to pursue the PGDM program.

Encourages the wards of Serving Defence personal /Ex-Serviceman to pursue the post graudation programs at SOIL. All Indian defence services and BSF families will be considered under this scheme.

Women who have done exceptional work in leadership roles for an organization.

This category of scholarships is given to those students who have earned awards or achievements in the field of Sports, Fine Arts, Social Work or any other related fields.

Students who are a full-time employee of any Registered NGO or Non-profit Organisations working in social space for a period of more than one year.
