Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts TISSNET (Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test) and entrance exams to provide admission to candidates in PG courses. TISS Mumbai provides approximately 50 Master's degree courses in Social Science, Education, Social Work, and Law as part of its MA, MA in Social Work, MPH, MHA, and MA/MSc programmes.
The two-year MA programme is provided under PG courses in ten specializations. All of these courses are admitted in two stages.

Criteria for Eligibility

For all MA concentrations: Any bachelor's or master's degree with a minimum duration of three or four years, or its equivalent

The following courses are required for the MA in Applied Psychology (Clinical and Counselling practice): A pass in/in the last year of a BA/BSc (Hons) in Psychology/General (with three Psychology papers) OR a pass in any UG +1 year full-time/part-time Counselling Postgraduate Diploma with at least 40 credits

For MA (Organisation Development, Change, and Leadership), a bachelor's or master's degree of at least three or four years duration, or its equivalent, with at least two years (24 months) of professional working experience after completion of the UG degree, is required.
