The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computer-based Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2023) on November 24, 2024 in three sessions. Detailed information on CAT 2024 may be obtained from the CAT website. CAT 2024 is a prerequisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes of IIMs. CAT 2024 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IIMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.

CAT 2024 Admit Card

The Exam for CAT will be held in three slots that has a distinct admit card for each. The admit card will include information about the exam day, slot, time, location, reporting time, and basic rules for personal conduct at the exam center.

The admit card is a mandatory document to be brought to the center of your exam. The candidates who do not have their admit card with them on the CAT exam day will be denied entry. As a result, students must download their admit cards prior to the exam date and print two copies of the same. So, in case of any discrepancy, you have a spare copy with you available.

How to Download a CAT Admit Card?

The candidates were required to follow the steps given below to download their CAT admit card: 

  • Visit the official CAT website - iimcat.ac.in

  • Click on the tab 'Login' 

  • Enter your registration ID and password which you received during registration

  • Click on the tab  'admit card'

  • Click on download and save the admit card on the device. You must take a printout of the CAT admit card so that you do not forget it on the exam day.
