The Government of Maharashtra has established State Common Entrance Test Cell as per Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act ,2015. The CET Cell conducts various entrance exams for Admission to Professional courses in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Eligibility criteria
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from a university that is accredited, with a minimum score of 50, or 45% for reserved candidates. Students in their last year are also eligible. Candidates who take the CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, or ATMA are thought to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats assuming they meet the prerequisites. Such individuals were given the opportunity to submit online applications on time.
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates:
- Candidates must have completed graduation or be in the final year of their graduation.
Category-wise Passing Marks in Graduation:
- General/EWS/NC-OBC: 50%
- SC/ST/PwD: 45%
