Exams
The CAT 2024 exam is scheduled for November 24, 2024, and will serve as a key step for admission to the 21 IIMs and top MBA colleges across India. IIM Calcutta will be conducting this year’s exam. As per the official CAT notification released on July 28, 2024, the registration process will open on August 1, 2024, and close on September 20, 2024.
Given the challenging nature of the CAT exam, it’s important to begin preparation well in advance, ideally at least nine months before the exam. However, if you haven’t started yet, there's still time. The final batch of the IMS CATapult Live Online Program for CAT 2024 starts in August, offering a chance to complete the syllabus and be exam-ready.
IELTS Mock Test
Why IELTS Exam?
The IELTS exam is required for migration and academic purposes in English-speaking nations such as Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada. The IELTS exam is the only English Language Test that UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) accepts for visa applicants both inside and outside the UK. Many students are perplexed as to why IELTS scores are required. The basic answer is that foreign colleges and visa-granting authorities want to ensure that you will have no communication problems while in the country. You must demonstrate a strong command of the English language, which is why your total IELTS band scores are so vital.
Candidates can register with the IDP for the IELTS exam 2023 up to once every week or four times per month, for a total of 48 set test dates in one calendar year. With 3.5 million IELTS exams administered in 2018, it has established itself as a pioneer in the field of international higher education. The IELTS exam is approved by all universities in the United Kingdom and Australia. It is also recognized by over 11,000 organizations in over 140 countries. There are thousands of institutions in English-speaking countries.
Types of IELTS
IELTS examinations are divided into two types: Academic and General Training. The listening and speaking sections are the same for both examinations; however, the writing and reading components alter depending on which test is taken. The IELTS Reading, Writing, and Listening portions are all performed on the same day, with no interruptions in between. The Speaking component, on the other hand, can be performed either a week before or after the other exam date.
Academic IELTS Test
Those applying for higher education or professional registration in another country must take IELTS Academic.
IELTS General Training
Those who intend to migrate to major English-speaking nations such as Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom take the IELTS General Test. This test is also taken by people who want to register in training programs or secondary education, as well as those who want to get work experience in a nation where English is the primary language of communication.
