Dr. Shumank Deep

Dr. Shumank Deep is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the University of Southampton Delhi. He has over eight years of teaching experience across MBA, PGDM, undergraduate, and interdisciplinary business programmes. His expertise includes operations management, supply chain management, project management, business analytics, and infrastructure management.

He earned his PhD in Construction Management from the University of Newcastle, Australia, where his research focused on buyer–supplier relationships and procurement governance. Before joining Southampton Delhi, he served as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Delhi, worked as a Visiting Researcher at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, and held academic positions at institutions including Queen's University Belfast and the University of Newcastle. His research spans supply chain resilience, digital transformation, procurement governance, and Industry 4.0, with publications in leading international journals.
