About IIM Sirmaur
Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) is a Centrally Funded Institution of National Importance set up by the Government of India in 2015. IIM Sirmaur is one of the newer institutions of the IIM family in the country. As a premier institution, under aegis of Ministry of Education, Gol, it aims to provide Management Education of high quality and promotes allied areas of knowledge and inter-disciplinary studies.

IIM Sirmaur is a third generation IIM which came into existence in 2015. So far six batches of MBA students have graduated from IIM Sirmaur. It is located on the foothills of Himalayas and naturally blessed with moderate climate with minimum air pollution and excellent air connectivity. There are two airports - Dehradun & Chandigarh which connect you to Sirmaur.

Placements 2026
The placement season saw over 125 companies participating, including 65+ new recruiters for a batch size of 238 students. Out of 224 students eligible for final placements, all were placed, with 14 students opting out. A total of 243 offers were made through the institute, though only 13 pre-placement offers (PPOs) were extended.

- Highest CTC offered was 64.12 LPA, marking a 142% increase year-over-year.

IIM Sirmaur Infrastructure
IIM Sirmaur currently operates from its temporary campus in Paonta Sahib, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and equipped with modern facilities and advanced technology, creating an excellent learning environment for students. It features state-of-the-art classrooms, fully equipped conference rooms with video conferencing capabilities, modern hostels, a 24x7 library with extensive print and electronic resources with remote access, and a computer lab with the latest configurations and access to various software and databases. Additionally, the campus offers facilities for outdoor and indoor sports, a gymnasium, and a mess, among other amenities.
The construction of IIM Sirmaur’s permanent campus is underway and progressing in phases. Once completed, the institute will relocate to its state-of-the-art campus, spread across 210 acres of land in Dhaula Kuan, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh.
IIM Sirmaur is dedicated to deliver state of art Information Technology Infrastructure facilities to the user community of the Institute. To achieve the goals and objective of Institute and also to build excellent pedagogy at IIM Sirmaur, the IT and computing facilities have endlessly and significantly been improved over the year. The Institute has state of the art Wi-Fi facility which is accessible throughout the campus. The computer lab is fully equipped with latest configuration computer systems that have access with latest software and databases.
A Computer Center with 1 Gbps backbone network facility has been set up in the campus for providing present and future IT and computing requirements of IIM Sirmaur Campus. Some of the salient features of this facility are mentioned below:
