IIM Sirmaur is a third generation IIM which came into existence in 2015. So far six batches of MBA students have graduated from IIM Sirmaur. It is located on the foothills of Himalayas and naturally blessed with moderate climate with minimum air pollution and excellent air connectivity.  There are two airports - Dehradun & Chandigarh which connect you to Sirmaur.

The placement season saw over 125 companies participating, including 65+ new recruiters for a batch size of 238 students. Out of 224 students eligible for final placements, all were placed, with 14 students opting out. A total of 243 offers were made through the institute, though only 13 pre-placement offers (PPOs) were extended.

CTC Details

• Highest CTC offered was 64.12 LPA, marking a 142% increase year-over-year.
• The Top 10% of students received an average of 24.38 LPA (up 30% YoY).
• The Top 25% secured 19.53 LPA (14% YoY increase).
• The Top 50% had 17.15 LPA (11% YoY increase).
• The Average CTC stood at 14.45 LPA, while the Median CTC was 13 LPA, both indicating growth of 13% and 6%, respectively.

Function-Wise Breakdown

1. General Management: Represented 25% of the placements, with an average CTC of 15,47,779 and a median of 14,21,000.
2. Marketing & Sales: Accounting for 22%, with an average CTC of 16,52,229 and a median of 15,77,088.
3. Finance: 20% of placements, average CTC at 12,92,126 with a median of 12,44,018.
4. IT & Systems: Comprising 19%, offering an average CTC of 13,07,127 with a median of 12,41,918.
5. Operations: Smaller at 3%, the average CTC was 14,13,911.
6. Others: At 5%, with an average of 12,91,343.
7. Product Management: Representing 7% with an average of 12,91,301.

Prominent companies across various sectors participated, including ICICI Bank, Accenture, Cognizant, HSBC, SBI, SBI General, Infosys, HCL, Decathlon, EY, Reliance, Airtel, and PwC among others, showing a diverse mix of industries represented in the placements.
