What sort of an eater are you? Do you enjoy the aroma of food and dwell in its experience? Or do you just eat to satiate your hunger?

Meaning:  a person who enjoys eating and often eats too much.

Certainly, there was a host of different dishes hot and steamy to cater to the tastes of connoisseurs.



Meaning: a person who takes particular pleasure in fine food and drink.

They had prepared a special menu for the opening, obviously with true trenchermen in mind. Austrians are famous trenchermen, and are not known for holding back when the dinner gong sounds.
